If the JSE is locked, using the keyboard shortcut to fill in Firefox does not fill the Login
Starting with one of the more recent updates to the Firefox extension (not sure whether it was the last one or the one before that), Auto-Submit stopped working when the 1Password keychain is locked. When I press the Cmd-\ shortcut, the password window shows up; I enter my password and the login screen is revealed. However, even if there is only one login, 1Password does not submit the login, i.e. I need to press return again to submit it.
When the keychain is unlocked, auto-submit works fine. Also, that does only happen with Firefox, the same websites work fine with the Safari extension.
Any ideas?

Thanks for mentioning this, MacAndre. This is a known issue in Firefox that we hope to resolve in a future update.
If we can be of further assistance in the meantime, please let us know. We are always here to help!

Hello,
I just wanted to check where you are with this bug since it is still happening in the most recent versions of the Firefox extension.
Thanks,
Andre

Thanks for asking, Andre!
We don't normally give time frames for specific updates as there are a wide number of factors that influence where developer resources are directed. Surprisingly this has only been reported by a couple other users, so we have had some "bigger fish to fry" with the release of Mountain Lion and work on 1Password 4.
This is definitely still on our radar. I just can't say when it will get resolved. For now, you should be able to simply unlock 1Password to take advantage of what we call "single-stroke login."
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
Cheers,

Thanks Khad!
Weird that this seems to happen only for a few people. Oh well, when the Keychain is unlocked the Single-Stroke login works but not when it is locked.

Whoops, hit Send too early.
Anyway, just wanted to say that although it is not ideal, I guess I can live with the fact that I have to press the return key once more to log in when the keychain is locked. :)
But I also hope it'll be fixed eventually
Thanks again!

The issue is consistently reproducible in our testing, so it is not just affecting you. It's just that we have to direct our limited developer resources as best as we can. My guess is that the majority of 1Password users who use Firefox typically unlock the extension once and therefore only see the issue once a day or so.
I hope that helps for now. I agree that it will be nice to get this resolved as soon as we can. :)

Hi Khad,
I totally agree, it is not a major problem, just a bit annoying once a day. If the alternative is a better 1Password overall, I gladly take that. :)
But it is good to know that it is reproducible, at least I am not crazy... ;)
Best,Andre

Hi Andre,
No you aren't crazy! :)
Good things are coming in the form of 1Password 4, so we have our developers locked in a room and occasionally feed and water them so that they make things happen sooner than later and make us all happy.
Please let us know if you have any more questions and have a great weekend!

Thanks Marshall! You have a nice weekend also.
And please let your developers out too, so they can refresh... but not too long! ;)

Hi Andre,
We let them see sunlight for at least five minutes every 24 hours! :)
