Hello. I am using the web browser Rockmelt, which is built on a Chrome platform with some additional features. The Chrome extension has loaded fine, but there is no button for me to use it. Can you help point me in the right direction? Thanks

    Hi Kyle,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about our extension and Rockmelt. We currently do not support RockMelt at this time. We'd like to extend support to other browsers in the future but we only support Safari, Chrome and Firefox at this time.

I believe RockMelt has made some changes that prevent certain extensions from functioning the same way as they do in Chrome so we would have to make a specific RockMelt extension.

I do apologize for the inconvenience though. Hopefully we can support more browsers in the future!

    Cheers!

I accept this EXCEPT that Rockmelt used to work with 1Password. It loads up and looks OK but fails to open properly, so nothing happens.

Surely the two can be made to work somehow?

Absolutely. We would have to create a Rockmelt specific extension in order to do so though and at the moment we do not have the resources to do so. Right now we are focusing on the big three: Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.

If we can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Hi

I've been using 1Password and Rockmelt for some time - but found that the latest version of 1Password did not work with the browser extension. I found a link to an old version that seems to work at http://notratched.net/2010/11/24/how-to-make-1password-work-with-ro...

However this is a few steps back. It seems that the legacy versions of the extension tend to work - but where do we find those? The latest never does, and the one linked to above is very old now.

BTW Rockmelt rocks! It's my preferred browser.

    Hi Arthur,

We do not have an extension that works with RockMelt. If it worked with an old version and no longer does then that would imply some changes that were made that broke the extension.

However, we no longer update those old extensions so support for RockMelt is not there.

That said, we have no plans to officially support RockMelt at this time. Perhaps in the future, but for right now it just isn't something we have the resources to support at this time.

I'm really sorry for the trouble though.

    Cheers!
