A few weeks ago, I got a message about 1Password, but I did not fully read it as I was in a hurry, clicked on something, and since then my Mac toolbar icon has a circle and slash, and if I click on it, I get a message that says: You can't open the application 1Password because it may be damaged or incomplete.

My iphone version is working fine but how do I fix my Mac version?

    Hi Christi,

It sounds like somehow your 1Password installation has become damaged, the best option is to reinstall it as such:

    1. Visit the 1Password download page at http://agilebits.com/downloads
    2. Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3 for Mac"
    3. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running
    4. Drag the newly downloaded version of 1Password to the same location as any previous one -- replacing it
    5. Run 1Password at least once and then your web browser

Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.

    I hope that helps,
