means that the extension can't connect to the 1Password helper
process. Please launch 1Password and choose Help >
Troubleshooting > Restart Helper. If you still have trouble, try
resetting the folder permissions from the same menu and then
restart the helper again.

rather old version of 1Password, which would explain the missing
Restart Helper/Agent option as well as why it might be
malfunctioning in the first place. Just make sure 1Password is up
to date (1Password menu > Check for Updates) and then install
the latest Safari extension (1Password menu > Install Browser
Extensions) and let me know if this resolves your issue.
Note: The update process will reinstall and restart the
Helper/Agent, so there should be no need to do so again. Just make
sure you restart your browser.
