MasterPassword
Hello, I am using the 1password 3.8.8 for mac and after installing the extensions for safari and firefox, I can't unlock 1passorwd through the browsers. It always comes with the message that the my master password is wrong, but when I try to open the software clicking on its icon on my dock, the program opens normally with the same password.
Can you please help me ?
Thanks.

I am having the same problem as Marcos. With tne 3.8.8 version and the browser ADD-ON that opens up the enter Master Password drop-down box, entering the password and clicking does NOTHING. Sometimes, after multiple tries it works. I then have to resort to opening 1Password via the Dock Icon and either manually entering the username and password or the drop-down box entry will work.
I believe this is likely to be a BUG in this version and I am amazed that more people are not commenting about this. This has been a problem since this "upgrade".

I'm sorry for the troubles you're having, Marcos. did you recently change your master password? If so, please try deleting and reinstalling the 1Password extension in your browser and that should get things going for you.
If that's not your situation, could you send us a screenshot of what's happening when you try to unlock? Also, if you can view it, please send along a troubleshooting report, which you can view from the 1Password extension's settings screen. Finally, a diagnostics report from 1Password's Help > Troubleshooting menu would be very helpful as well.
I hope that helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Hi, Marcos. Happy to help you with this.
Safari
Firefox
~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/ProfilesTo reinstall the extensions, visit our extensions page in Safari and in Firefox, and click to install the extension.
Stephen, it sounds like you might be experiencing something different. Do you have Wondershare or something similar installed? If so, you may have encountered a software conflict and uninstalling the conflicting extension should resolve the issue for you.

Nik,
Went through the process per the URL you gave below and I do not think this is the root of my problem. I am a good detective and here's what I have discerned.
From the browser, 1P does not open up if I click on the 1P icon once. But, voila, if I click on it twice, it does. That's one finding.
Second, I have no other extensions in my Safari Preferences, Extensions, other than 1Password.
So I wonder what this could be. Right now, I can live with doing two clicks on 1P.

That is certainly odd, Stephen. I've never heard of that before. Can you tell me what version of OS X, 1Password, and the Safari extension you are using?
The first thing I would suggest is making sure you are up to date with 1Password, removing, and then reinstalling the extension.
If you are still having trouble, could you please generate a Diagnostics Report?
