Accessing 1Password-generated Apple ID to purchase/update via iTunes - autofill??

I'm new to 1Password. I have used 1Password to generate a strong password for my Apple ID account, which works fine in the Apple store within a browser. But the same (un-rememberable) password is also required in iTunes to update apps, etc. Is there a way to have 1Password fill in the password within iTunes or is it always necessary to open 1Password, go to accounts and copy the password, then paste into the iTunes password box? That's a royal pain...

Thanks for any and all advice.

    I hear you, Brenda!

Unfortunately, it is not possible at this time for 1Password to integrate with iTunes or other applications. We are looking into ways to do this in the future, however, so hopefully we will be able to add something like this in a future version. Thanks for letting us know this would be useful to you!

If there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. And, as always, thanks for using 1Password! :)

I too would like to be able to use 1Password to fill in my Apple ID in iTunes or the AppStore app.

    Hello KC,

Thanks for letting us know you would like this functionality. At this time, 1Password only integrates with web browsers. As Apple's App Stores are programs, rather than browsers, Apple would have to provide code access for us to be able to automatically Fill /Submit your credentials.

However, you may still create a strong password and copy/paste from the 1Password application. So, you are able to keep your account as safe as possible in spite of not having more direct integration. :)

    Cheers!

    Brandt
