Ah so. I did a re-boot and it appeared. Funny, when I installed the latest beta, it rebooted the app. Didn't realize that it needed a total reboot. All's well. As for the log in, well, I'll start a new one.

Version 3.8.5 for the Mac works fine. Upgrade on another Mac to 3.8.7 has different interface and 1P does not show up on the Safari tool bar. How can I restore or return to 3.8.5 level?

I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and all's well at the moment. 3.8.1 Beta seems good too. Guess we just have to love 1P while it's in transition, but it's tough love.

I am also running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and 1Password 3.8.7 (build 31168) on both my computers. One of them works and the other does not. Both are iMacs with the same configuration -- mid 2007 models.

    Hello John,

Thank you for the screenshot. It appears that the Safari toolbar is hidden in your case. Please try to select "View > Show Toolbar" menu to bring the toolbar back.

    Thanks!

Thank you Roustem. That was the problem. I did not hide the toolbar on purpose. Somehow it just went away.

I upgraded to 1password 3.5.15 My Safari 5.0.6 running on Mac 10.5.8 no longer shows the 1P icon.
I followed ALL the troubleshooting suggestions, the resetting folder permissions, reinstalling extensions, etc.
    Nothing.
It isn't even in the manually installable window in Safari under "CUstomize Toolbar."
I tried installing the safari extension manually from the Safari extensions gallery. THEN the 1P icon appears with the dreaded red dot with the "1" in it,and doesn't do anything when you click on it.

This is a serious loss. 1P is one of the most MAJOR pieces of software I use scores of time each day.
    HELP !!!!

What worked for me was to click View/Show Toolbar in the top menu.
