Hi Phil,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us, and thanks for using 1Password. :)
1Password does not support Mobile Me syncing, so let's make sure you are set up with Dropbox syncing. On you iMac, install Dropbox if you do not already have it installed:
http://dropbox.com/
Once Dropbox is installed, click the "Move to Dropbox" button in 1Password's preferences.
You'll need to set up Dropbox syncing on your iPhone as well:

Once Dropbox syncing is set up, adding your new MacBook Air to the mix should be a breeze — no pun intended.
Install Dropbox on your MacBook Air, wait for it to finish syncing, open 1Password. you should be prompted to use the data file in your Dropbox folder. :)
If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. We are always here to help!

I loaded dropbox on iphone and iMac but it isn't syncing 1password.
1password shows wifi status as "offline" even though I have a strong wifi connection and that my other dropbox items appear to be syncing.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Thanks for writing back, Phil. Before we go too far, I want to make sure you know that Dropbox only needs to be installed on your Mac(s). The Dropbox app is never used to sync 1Password data on your iPhone. The 1Password app handles syncing on your iPhone.
There are two mutually exclusive sync options in 1Password. One is direct Wi-Fi syncing which is manual and requires you to be on the same network as the Mac you are syncing with. The other is Dropbox which is automatic and works from anywhere in the world as long as you have an Internet connection. It sounds like you might be confusing the first sync option with having an Internet connection.
Let's just take things one step at a time. Please try accessing your data via 1PasswordAnywhere to make sure Dropbox syncing is set up correctly on your Mac.
1Password.htmlfile inside1Password.agilekeychainDo you see all your data there? If you are stuck on any of those three steps please let me know what action you are taking and what you are [not] seeing happen.
We'll get you up and running in no time at all. :)
