I am having a similar problem. I have managed to fix it with the browsers safari and chrome by uninstalling the browser extension, reinstalling it. I also reinstalled 1password.

Unfortunately, the FireFox extension still tells me that I have the wrong password when I try to log in with it. I'd like to find out what support files to trash to fix this

(I'm still running Snow Leopard, latest build. Is it worth upgrading the OS?)

   Hi Charles,

   Firefox is the exception to this due to how we manage the database in Firefox separately from the other browsers. We're working on fixing the master password update for the Firefox extension as soon as possible.

   To fix this now, please do the following:

   1. Close Firefox, then open Finder and select the Go Menu > Go to Folder option. Type or paste in the following:
      ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles
   2. Move the OnePassword.sqlite file to the desktop
   3. Restart Firefox and it should now work with your new master password (It is normal to see the welcome page show up in Firefox, it means it has successfully synced with 1Password)
   4. After confirming that it works now, you can securely delete the OnePassword.sqlite file on the desktop

   I hope that helps.
