Compatibility Between 1Password 3.9.0 and Safari 5.1.4
I have an iMac processing at 3.06 GHz on Intel Core 2 Dual. It’s running Mac OS 10.7.3. I recently updated 1Password to 3.9.0 (Build 39001 and everything ran well. Last night I updated Safari to 5.1.4 (7543.16) and ever since then 1Password no longer works for me.
I can fire up 1Password but after I enter my master password and need it to fill in passwords - NOTHING HAPPENS! It’s similar to the crap I had to go through when Apple made major changes to its OS. It took AgileBits about two months to come out with an upgrade that worked well with the new OS.
Now the compatibility problem is between I Password 3.9.0 and the new Safari 5.1.4. I hope it will not take 2 months to clean up this incompatibility. Does anyone have an idea when this incompatibility will get fixed? It is frustrating as hell not having 1 Password doing what it does so well.

Hi Fred,
This is a known issue with Safari 5.1.4.
Try unchecking "open in 32-bit mode" for Safari. A number of users have reported that this resolves the issue.
Quit Safari (Cmd+Q) if it is open, open Finder and navigate to the /Applications folder, find the Safari app, highlight it, right click on it, select Get Info, and uncheck "Open in 32-bit mode."
Unfortunately if that does not resolve the issue there is no other known fix at this time. We hope to have an update available soon. In the mean time you may want to try Firefox or Chrome.
