Is it technically possible for 1Password to support the Mobile Documents feature recently introduced in OS X Mountain Lion? That feature appears to work just like DropBox does. Does Agile plan to support it for 1Password syncing?

    Hi There,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us with your questions.

The feature you're talking about is actually iCloud document storage. This isn't a switch that can be flipped and for us actually requires completely redesigning our entire data file format. A lot of users want this but don't realize that it isn't just a flip of the switch (it's also not at all like Dropbox, it may be presented that way to the user, but internally, very different).

We cannot make any promises. iCloud is very new and maturity, stability and a number of other things play a role here. I can say we're looking at it but I have no time frames or anything.

Any announcements about it will be available on our blog:

I've also made the discussion public. They're private by default since we often ask for private data from customers and we would prefer to make sure that they are all private by default to protect that data. Since this one has no private data I can definitely flip the switch for you :)

Please let us know if we can answer anything else for you.

    Cheers!
