chrome extension on windows - improper focus
I have become used to the workflow in Safari on the mac, where I either do cmd-option \ to open the 1password extension menu or just click on the icon. At that point Safari has the focus set perfectly so I can start typing - either the master password or for a search on which website I want to go to. This is great and the way it should work.
But when I run the chrome extension on windows, the focus isn't set. I have to click on the master password box or click on the search icon to get the keys to flow to the right place.
Is anybody else having that issue?
Greg

Hi Greg,
Thanks for contacting us to let us know about the trouble you're having.
We are aware of this particular issue. I'm sad to say we do not have a timeframe for when it may be fixed. I believe it happened when Chrome 18 was released and may be a Chrome 18 bug on the Windows side. The Windows and Mac extensions are the same in Chrome, and the Mac version of Chrome does not exhibit this problem.
We'll try to take a look at it in the future though and see if we can find a workaround.
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience though.
Cheers!

Yes this is a silly and irritating problem. Irksome. I was thinking I was doing something different.
Hope you get this fixed soon.
I'm running Chrome 18 on XP

Hi Kyle,
I wish to apologise. I have complained to the wrong people! The problem I refer to seems to be in Chrome itself. I was too fast on a search. All the add-ons... I have many and run Chrome, Firefox and Dolphin (on Android). IE is only brought out for testing from time to time.
Though thanks for your professional and personal response. I shall have a better look at your products!!!
Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,
No worries at all about apologizing.
We are going to take a look at this in the future and see if we can find a work around for it. But no promises, we may be hamstrung a bit by Chrome on this.
Hopefully it is fixed in a future version of either 1Password or Chrome though :)
Cheers!
