Hello,

First of all, congratulations on the great app. 1Password is what I've been looking for for ages and you made it even better than what I had hoped.

A slight problem is occurring on my computer. I have the extension running on Safari and every time I restart my computer, the introduction page from 1Password is shown. Is there a way to prevent Safari to open this page every time ?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Francois

    Hi Francois,

Thanks for the kind words about 1Password, they really mean a lot to us.

Regarding the help page in Safari, I'm sorry for the trouble here, do you use the Safari > Reset Safari option at all, maybe before you restart your Mac? If so, there's a bug in Safari 5.1 that means that not only does this clear website data but also all extension databases, we've reported this to Apple are we're hoping for a fix soon.

What this means for 1Password users is that because the 1Password database for the Safari extension is deleted the extension thinks you're using the extension for the first time and so shows the user-guide, which was designed to help first time users.

For now, the workaround is to uncheck the Remove All Website Data when using the Safari > Reset Safari option which will prevent Safari from deleting the extension's database.

If that's not the case, do you use any other clean up tools at all?
