Regarding the help page in Safari, I'm sorry for the trouble
here, do you use the Safari > Reset Safari option at all, maybe
before you restart your Mac? If so, there's a bug in Safari 5.1
that means that not only does this clear website data but also all
extension databases, we've reported this to Apple are we're hoping
for a fix soon.
