It seems to be hard to get any info on this product. I see in Windows Marketplace that a user commented that this version only reads, but will not edit or add entries. Is this correct? I am a happy user of your product on Mac/iphone/windows and really need a full featured version for the new Windows Phone 7.5. What timeframe are you looking at to provide a full version?

Thank you!!!!

    Hi Dan,

    Thanks for contacting us!

What you had seen in the comment is correct, the current version on the Marketplace is only capable of reading. Unfortunately, I have no information to report about a full featured version for Windows Phone at this time. We'd love to offer it but we're a small group and making a full featured application is a time consuming process.

If there is any way we can further assist you please let us know!

    Cheers!

    Kyle,

Thanks for the response. Even if you guys could just allow manually
entering and updating entries from the app itself. Not even the full
browser integration, etc... Just so we could add an entry. That would be
awesome. With the Nokia 900 coming out for Windows Phone 7.5, market share
will go up. I hope you will consider it. :")

Thanks and I love your products!

I've been using 1Password for both Windows and Windows Phone 7 for a year now. The only reason I bought the Windows desktop version was to support the use of 1Password on my phone. I needed the portability for the hundreds of passwords I have for work. Now it seems that the Windows Phone 7 (7.5?) product is abandoned for all intents and purposes. It's not even listed on your main website any more.

Can you please provide some information on the status of the WP7 app? Is it abandoned? Will you be updating it? I'm concerned that I've wasted my money on the desktop license as 90% of my use is remote via my phone.

    Hi Darin,

Thanks so much for taking a moment to write.

As Kyle mentioned in his earlier post, since we have a small development team, it's a constant process to decide where our limited resources will be spent.

While I don't have anything specific to share on the current status of our WP7 version, I can say that hearing from customers like you helps us determine what the most pressing needs are and where to focus our resources. So I really appreciate hearing how important an improved WP7 version would be to you. This is definitely something we'll take into consideration going forward.

Thanks again for getting in touch,

    Hi there,

I too am like Darin. I have a WP7 device and love it. There are now over 60,000 apps on the marketplace and this is growing faster than any other application store. I trialled the Windows desktop version and loved it. I searched for and found the 1password for Windows Phone 7 and was elated to find this. Then I downloaded and synced with DropBox and found that unfortunately it was a bit buggy. Some of the bugs are: 1. URL are incorrect (usually the last segment of a long URL is retained). 2. Sometimes when passwords are revealed by clicking on the key icon, there is an overlap with the asterisks. 3. Every action seems to go back to a locked mode and you have to constantly re-enter your password. 4. No editing is available. 5. Support is stagnant at the moment.

Please advise how many users you require so that your team can decide to recommence development. Maybe we can start a forum or even a Facebook page to give you an indication of the numbers.

    Thanks
    Sam

    Sam,

It really isn't a matter of how many users we require, we don't work to numbers like that, but there a number of factors we have to consider.

At the moment we have limited resources for other mobile platform development and tis is currently split between Android and Windows Phone 7, personally I'd argue the latter is the better platform but market share for Windows Phone 7 is very low, even Microsoft will admit this right now.

As our 'Product Champion' for Android and Windows Phone 7, I can tell you that we do want to give you a much better experience on Windows Phone 7 than you currently have, but at the same time our resources are limited and so I just can't make any promises as to when we'll be able to resolve issues and make feature improvements.
